Sarah
She has worked in this field for four years as a kennel attendant, vet assistant, and a receptionist. Sarah started here in September of 2009. She has such a friendly smile with an upbeat attitude and has made a great addition to our staff. After High school she attended Everett Community College and hopes to go back to school to obtain her veterinary technician license. She is getting married in June to her sweetheart Joel and hopes to start a family, build a hobby farm and finish remodeling their home. She has a German Shorthair Pointer, Brodi, two cats, Ashley and Kishi. She has a great family; her parents are pastors in Marysville, a brother in college, and a sister who is her roommate and best friend. She enjoys working in the yard, riding/showing horses, spending time with Brodi, family and friends.

Flicka
Flicka was born in January 1997. She came to us as an injured kitten just after we opened our new facility. She had apparently been sleeping under the hood of the owner’s vehicle when the owner started the car engine. Flicka’s right front leg was injured beyond repair, and an amputation was necessary. Flicka likes to lie on our front computers and be petted by our many clients. Some of our clients bring in their special laser pens just to exercise and entertain our “princess.” Look for her sleeping in her bed at the front reception counter or impatiently waiting for you near the dog “cookie jar!”
Kelly, CVPM
Kelly has been with us since 1996 and become a Certified Veterinary Practice Manager in 2006. She Her passion for leadership, communication and teamwork has lead her to spend 19 years in the service industry. She enjoys working in the same town as she grew up and seeing all of the familiar faces. Kelly enjoys camping with her husband, Glen, daughter, Sarah and stepson, Jaymie. When she isn’t involved with work and family you may see her in town walking her dogs Lucy and Bella or riding her bike. She also enjoys reading, working in the yard and playing with her Holland Lop Bunnies.

Brenda has been with us since November of2007. She graduated from the Veterinary Assistant program at Sno-Isle Skill Center in 1996. Brenda worked in the wildlife rehabilitation field for over 10 years before moving on to a Veterinary Specialty Center, where she worked for 5 years. Brenda and her husband, Travis, have two children Clayton, 11 and Abbey who is 8. They have seven dogs, Ava, Simon, Leila, Jayce (French Bulldogs), Lily, Jewel (English Bulldogs) and Coors (a rescued Shepherd mix). In her spare time, she breeds her English Bulldogs and Frenchies, and has a few litters of puppies throughout the year.
Roo
Roo was brought in to CVC in Jan. of 2009, when she was just 5 weeks old. She had been playing with some string and got it wrapped tightly around her neck and front leg. There was no hope for saving her leg by the time she got here, it had to be amputated. Her owner was unable to do this for her and was left with no other option but euthanasia. However he knew how much the staff at CVC loved her and made the decision to surrender her to us. Dr Hoffman took care of her and offered her a forever home. Roo still enjoys getting into all kinds of mischief. She also enjoys taking weekend trips home with one of the receptions.
Amy has been with us since February 2004. She is an organized person that keeps the flow of the clinic. She has a special interest in canine and feline dentistry. Amy and her husband, Nathan, have two French Bulldogs, Caynon and Omar, a Papillon named Kirby, Cora, their cat and two Holland Lop Rabbits. In her free time she enjoys camping, hiking, going to concerts/sporting events, and just spending time with her family.
Kaylene
Kaylene started out here as a hospital attendant in March of 2007, she has recently been promoted to veterinary assistant. She is a hard worker and always stays busy. She and her boyfriend share their home with a dog, Henneessey and 2 cats, Dahlia and Shorty B. In her spare time she goes paint balling, camping and spends time with friends. She is exploring the idea of becoming a licensed veterinary technician.
Elizabeth
Elizabeth has been with us since September of 2009. She is and upbeat person with an infectious smile. She is attending her senior year of High School at Everett Community College (running start program) and has completed the veterinary assisting and grooming program at Sno-Isle Skills Center. Her goal after graduation is to attend technician school to become a licensed veterinary technician and eventually work in an emergency clinic or maybe own her own clinic or shelter someday. Although she grew up with a couple of small dogs, she doesn't have any at this time so she treats your pets as her own when they are here. In her spare time, she enjoys music, riding dirt bikes, paint balling, riding quads, hiking and traveling.
Gretchen
Gretchen came to us in November 2009. She is a hard worker and has a great love for animals.
